How do I find my PS5 model and serial number?

We recommend taking note of your serial number before sending us your console as it is the unique identifying number for your console.

The serial number is on the label on your console, and you can also find it in Settings > System > System Software > Console Information.

The model number will be located on the bottom of the console when positioned vertically.

If attached, remove the base to reveal the PS5 console model number.

The model number consists of the letters CFI, followed by a series of numbers and a letter. Your model number tells you which version you have:

Version Model number starts with Disc drive
Original PS5 CFI-10, CFI-11 or CFI-12 Built in (disc edition) or none (digital edition)
PS5 Slim CFI-20 Detachable (disc edition) or add-on
PS5 Pro CFI-70 None as standard, add-on available
