Phone conditions explained

Good

To be classed as Good the device should:

Device powers on and is fully functional

Everything works and there are no software or hardware issues

The screen has no scratches, blemishes or signs of use

There are no cracks, chips, dents, scuffs, paint blemishes, pressure marks, screen burn, missing parts or dead pixels

Home button, Touch ID, Face ID and NFC all function correctly

The device is not out of shape, bent or water damaged (if so, we can recycle this responsibly)

Battery health is above 85%

Average

To be classed as Average the device should:

Device powers on and is fully functional

Everything works and there are no software or hardware issues

The screen has scratches and blemishes which can be seen (cracks and chips are not acceptable and should be classified as Faulty)

The screen has minor/minimal pressure marks, discolouration, white spots, dead pixels or screen burn

Device housing may have slight dents, scuffs, scratches or paint blemishes

Home button, Touch ID, Face ID and NFC all function correctly

The device is not out of shape, bent or water damaged (if so, we can recycle this responsibly)

Battery health is above 85%

Faulty

To be classed as Faulty* the device should:

Device powers on. We can't accept any device with no power/display

The screen has serious damage including heavy scratches, cracks & chips

The screen has pressure marks, discolouration, white spots, dead pixels or screen burn

Device housing has serious dents, scuffs, scratches or paint blemishes

The device is not out of shape, bent or water damaged (if so, we can recycle this responsibly)

Light Wear and Tear consists of: Small scuffs / blemishes to the bezel and buttons.

Small scratches on the screen that aren’t visible when the phone is held at arm’s length.

Small dents / scratches to the casing.

*In peak times, it may take up to 48hours to test your device after it has been received by us. We’ll usually process payment to you on the same day we satisfactorily test your device. Same day payments do not apply to orders tested after 2pm and in events which are out of our control. Payment processing depends on third parties and is out of our control.
